Bernies Music Land in Melbourne Australia hosted a very special event recently. Over 30 Suzuki organ teachers and students were hosted for 3 days of teacher training, student tuition and professional development sessions.
The event culminated in the '10 Johannus Organ Spectacular' where 10 Johannus organs were played at the same time and also featured solo pieces by some talented young organists.
Bernies Music Land has been the foundation and exclusive sponsor of Suzuki Organ Australia for over 8 years. The event was the culmination of the tireless work of Mr David Clark of Cooranbong. Mr Clark is supported by teachers, Brendon Lukin, Maureen Mahon, Jennifer Chou, Sonia Gellert and Stephen Aveling-Rowe. A few years ago Johannus also hosted a group of Australian Suzuki Organ visitors in The Netherlands. A fond memory for many who attended this weekend.
2016 is an important year for Bernies Music Land. On Monday 10 October, it was Music Lands official 39th birthday and it is also 24 years since they sold their first Johannus organ and 20 years as exclusive Australian distributor of Johannus products.
